The Allante-XLR Invitational is an event that has grown over the years from a simple dinner invite to our Allante Club Members followed by a day of displaying our cars at the Grand Rapids Cadillac Dealership (Harvey Automotive) and viewing the Grand Rapids 28th Street Metro Cruise to what it is today.
Each year more and more Allante -XLR Owners seeking a fun summer event asked about and were invited to the dinner and Street Cruise, so prior to the 2016 event it was suggested that another full day be added to the weekend and that we reach out to even more owners and so it was officially named the Allante-XLR Invitational.
The Allante-XLR Invitational became exactly that an Invite to all Allante and XLR Owners regardless of which if any car clubs they belong to. However, we are so very grateful for the support and participation of many of the premier Allante-XLR Clubs we encourage owners to join one of their choice, but it is the camaraderie of the participants that make the event the success it is.
We have added area tours on Friday , the Grand Rapids 28th Street Metro Cruise is still enjoyed throughout the day Saturday and cars are still displayed on Saturday thanks to the hospitality of the Harvey Cadillac Automotive Group at which time they are judged for class trophies. Saturday evening caps off the event with a special banquet and awards ceremony.
There are so many fun and interest things to do in the Grand Rapids and surrounding areas during the summer we hope to continue to host this event as long as Allante and XLR owners continue to enjoy getting together.
